On May 6th, Myron Cross PHD, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, departed this earth at the grand age of 94, passing peacefully at his home, shared with his youngest daughter’s family in Berryville Arkansas.

Born in Illinois, Myron lived in Albuquerque New Mexico, served in the US Navy as a mechanic during the Korean War, got his degree in teaching at Emmanuel Missionary College in Michigan in 1954, and then taught in Washington State from 1955 until 1958. He went on to become Superintendent of Natomas Unified School District, where he was also a president of the Lion’s Club, a board member of Natomas Fire Dept, and belonged to various Education Councils, from 1969 until retiring in 1982. During those years Myron went on to receive two Master’s degrees and two Doctorates from USC and BYU.
