Meagan Nicole Sidfrid, devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, and sister, left her friends and family with the fondest memories on January 5, 2022.

A lifelong resident of Hollister, Missouri, Meagan was born on March 9, 1996. Adventure was woven into her every fiber, and she never said no to an opportunity to get into some mischief, whether it be a spontaneous road trip to Mississippi or hiking through miles of wooded trails, which sometimes involved being lost for hours. When she wasn’t exploring the woods, you could find her kayaking creeks and rivers —most notably on the infamous Family Float Trip where laughs and shenanigans abound-bobbing at the lake, watching —or just quoting her favorite Disney movies, or listening to music with her friends and family. She dreamt of traveling the world and her friends and family hope to honor her by visiting all the places her heart desired.

She married her person, best friend, and the love of her life, Lizzy, on March 23, 2021.

Meagan left behind her wife, Lizzy Young; two daughters, Shelly and Melody; her mother, Jessica Sidfrid; father, Chris Sidfrid; two brothers, Doug Sidfrid and Christian Sidfrid (Aspen) and nephew Kylan Sidfrid; grandparents Ira and Ilene Henderson and Sonny and Jackie Stacy, as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of which will miss her infectious smile and indescribable hugs.

Meagan left us with a few of her favorite words of wisdom: Hakuna Matata —it means no worries for the rest of your days, and Ohana, which means family and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten. Meagan will never be forgotten, as she will live on forever in our hearts, memories, and the stories we will never stop telling.

A celebration of life will be held 3p.m. January 22, 2022, at Pasghetti’s, 3129 76 Country Blvd, Branson, MO 65616. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Central Bank under Meagan Sidfrid Memorial fund. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
