Mary Jean Burns, age, 60, of Granby, Missouri

Mary Jean Burns, age, 60, of Granby, Missouri passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023 at her home.   

            She was born March 5, 1963 in Portland, Oregon the daughter of Leonard and Carolyn (Laasch) King. On September 3, 1993 in Noel, Missouri she was united in marriage to Daniel Burns, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Cory Eugene Clark and his wife Michelle of Westville, Oklahoma; three daughters, Corina Carolyn Bronson and her husband Rickey of Joplin, Missouri, Talasha Marie Cook and her husband Derek of Granby, Missouri and Charlesa Jean Burns and her fiancé Todd Hook of Granby, Missouri; one brother, Ronald Lee King and his wife Treena of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

            Preceding her in death were her parents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

            Mary attended school in Jay, Oklahoma. She was self-employed as a contract driver, traveling extensively throughout the United States and Canada. She enjoyed taking pictures, having her picture taken, going to the lakes and rivers, doing yard work and relaxing in her hot tub. Mary was a highly devoted wife, mother, grandma and friend. She loved her family, they were the most important part of her life.

            A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Lakemont, 5896 County Road 366 in Eucha, Oklahoma 74342. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
