Marilyn June Lints “June"

Marilyn June Lints “June”, aged 87, passed away peacefully after fighting a very difficult battle on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 in Springfield, Missouri at Cox South Medical Center.

June was born June 9th, 1934 in Caruthersville, Missouri to Robert and Freda (Whitaker) Argo. She had three siblings: Katherine, Thelma, and John.

June married the love of her life, Ronald L. Lints “Ronnie” on April 5, 1955 in Austin, Texas. Her husband was a senior airman in the United States Air Force, so they relocated often, and June was a devoted homemaker and a loving mother to their only child, Beverly. Airman Lints heroically gave his life in a boating accident in order to save her life, and June honored his memory and sacrifice every day.

June was a faithful member of the Nazarene church for over 65 years and she truly loved the Lord. Her faith guided her daily life and she prayed fervently and gave generously and was a patron of many philanthropic organizations, endeavors, charities, and missions. She longed for the day that should would be welcomed into Heaven, and she is rejoicing with her Savior whom she loved more than anything.

In addition to her faith, June was a gifted artist, voracious reader and cinema enthusiast, specifically classics and westerns. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gospel music, RFD TV, shopping and travelling, and was a diehard sports fan- her love of the Broncos, Longhorns, and Spurs was unmatched. Getting her hair done, a shopping trip, and Mexican food was always a perfect recipe for a fun day for her.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Eugenio and her husband, Russell, her cherished four grandchildren: Ronnie Baker, Leah Pingleton and her husband Jordan, Micah Eugenio, and Jeremiah Eugenio. June also had six beautiful great-grandchildren who were, as she said, “the lights of her life”: Jonathan, Gabriella, Sophia, Chloe, Jackson, and Justice Pingleton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and countless friends who loved and cherished her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, spouse, cousins and other kin, and her great-granddaughter Sophia.

A memorial service and celebration of life ceremony will be held on January 8th, 2022 at 3 p.m. at the Branson First Church of the Nazarene in Branson, Missouri, located at 300 W Hensley Street. Her final resting place will be next to her beloved husband at the Austin Memorial Park Cemetery in Austin, Texas, but she will always be held dear to us in our hearts. We will always love and miss you until at last we see you again.
