Margaret Mary "Peggy" Remmel, age 79, Branson, Missouri

Margaret Mary "Peggy" Remmel passed on peacefully on October 1, 2023, in Branson, Missouri. Born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin on May 29, 1944, to James Joseph Ryan and Elizabeth B. (Schram) Ryan, she created a life that overflowed with love, faith, and joy.

A beloved sister, Peggy is survived by sisters, Judy Ryan of Seattle, WA, Jane Knes (Curtis Blevins) of New River, AZ, and her twin Patty Sprague (Kent) of Bonnie Lake, WA. She found true love in her husband, Richard Remmel, whom she met in Wisconsin. Their adventurous spirit led them to marry in Las Vegas in 1991. Peggy is also survived by her children, Jeff Wegert (Tammy) of Janesville, WI, Mary Wegert of Janesville, and Shawn Severson (Stephanie) of Oostburg, WI. She was also a cherished grandmother to Alexis and Alyssa. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas Ryan.

Peggy was a homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming environment for all who entered her home. Her faith played a significant role in her life, being a member of the Redeemer Church in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, and later attending Faith Lutheran Church in Branson.

Peggy’s love for all animals was unmatched, as was her passion for playing cards and shopping.  She also enjoyed traveling, being on the go and taking in Branson music shows.

Peggy's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will live on, not just through her family, but in the countless moments of laughter and love she shared with everyone around her.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson with private family services planned.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to an animal rescue facility of the donor’s choosing in Peggy’s memory.
