Lula Grace Ratty was born on November 10, 1932 in Herculaneum, Missouri

Lula Grace Ratty was born on November 10, 1932 in Herculaneum, Missouri to Edward & Lulu (Higgins) Naucke.  She married Leon Ratty on July 9, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas and they were blessed with four children.  Along with caring for her family, Lula worked outside the home as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant caring for the elderly in nursing facilities.  She and Leon had moved to Rockaway Beach in the late 1980s from Horine, Missouri. 

Lula loved finding a bargain.  She frequented yard sales, would browse the isles at the Dollar Tree and enjoyed shopping in general.  One of her favorite things to buy was sweets.  She truly loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren and the gifts she made them for holidays will be treasured for always.

Lula entered into rest on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the age of 89.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Lula; husband Leon; daughter Barbara Ratty; brothers, Bud, Bob, Tut and Tommy; and sisters, Martha, Florence, Wilma, Hev and Pete.

Lula is survived by her children, Mike Ratty & wife Mary of Fort Wayne, IN, Jayne Calvert & husband Terry of Nixa, MO, Carol Lagana & husband John of High Ridge, MO; ten grandchildren, Amy, Stephanie, Jordan, Jacob, Crystal, Michael Paul, Matthew, Danielle, Marcus, and Mindy; thirty-three great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening, March 27, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Funeral services will be Monday, March 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home with burial following in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
