Lorna “Kay” Hess, age 68, of Butterfield, Missouri passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at home.
She was born January 31, 1953 in Rogers, Arkansas, the daughter of Benford and Laura (Pendegraph) Scott. On Jul 27, 1973 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri she was united in marriage to John Hess, who survives. Also surviving are her parents, Benford and Laura Scott of Washburn, Missouri; one son, Chris Hess and his wife Brandy of Butterfield, Missouri; one daughter, Lisa Skelton and her husband Adam of Seligman, Missouri; one brother, Kenneth Scott of Washburn, Missouri; one sister, Carolyn Tiedman and her husband John of Washburn, Missouri and four grandchildren, Alicia, John, James and Karryann.
Kay attended high school in Ottawa, Kansas. After moving to this area in 1976 most of their time was spent living in Washburn, later moving to Butterfield. She enjoyed being out in the yard and taking care of her flowers.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services. Burial will be at Roach Cemetery in Eagle Rock.
