Lawrence “Larry” Alexander Addis, age 84, of Branson, Missouri

Lawrence “Larry” Alexander Addis, age 84, of Branson, Missouri, passed away November 1, 2023, with family at his side. He entered this life March 14, 1939, the son of Cecil and Jean (Law) Addis in Santa Monica, California. Larry was joined in marriage to the love of his life, Bonnie Cristine Webber, on October 14, 1972.

Larry proudly served our country in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31) from 1962 until 1964. He worked for Pacific Telephone (AT&T) from 1957 until his retirement in 1985. Having the heart of a protector, provider, and mentor, Larry was a wonderful father and papa. He enjoyed building model ships, cooking, gardening, fishing, golfing, and boating. The memories and moments created over his life time will be cherished forever by all who knew him.

Larry is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Bonnie Addis of Branson, Missouri; two sons: Tony Addis and wife, Leah of Kirbyville, Missouri, and Michael Addis and wife, Kendall of Nixa, Missouri; grandchildren: Kelsey (Cody) Franklin, Kailyn Addis, Bailey Addis, Mason Addis, and Carter Addis; brother, Frank Addis of Tennessee; seven nieces; ten nephews; many other extended family members; and beloved golden retriever, Buddy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Addis.

There will be a private memorial service held at a later date. Larry will be inurned at Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Larry’s name may be made to Phoenix Hospice, 800 Hwy. 248, Suite C Branson, MO 65616.
