Kenneth Thomas was born on June 8, 1933.
He married his sweetheart, Bonnie Peel on November 18, 1951 in Boone, IA.
Kenneth taught social studies and drivers education at Ogden Junior High in Ogden, IA for 17 years. In 1976, Kenneth and Bonnie purchased the Four Seasons Resort in Kimberling City and moved from Iowa. It was the first of several different lodging and vacation properties they operated around the Branson and lakes area. Kenneth was also a faithful member of the Ozark Mountain Assembly of God in Kimberling City.
Kenneth entered into rest on Thursday, September 28, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was 89.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Eliza Thomas and his loving wife, Bonnie Thomas.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Mike Thomas and wife Linda of Abrams, WI; his daughter, Lisa Westfall and husband Rick of Sparta; five grandchildren, Tara (Jason) O’Leary, Ashley (Nick) Gasau, Chelsea Dahms, Cory (Maranda) Westfall, and Laura Westfall along with ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory.
