Kenneth Lee Bettis Sr., age 75, of Reed Springs, Missouri

Kenneth Lee Bettis Sr., age 75, of Reed Springs, Missouri, passed away April 15, 2023, with loved ones at his side. He entered this life November 1, 1947, in Waverly, Illinois. He was joined in marriage to the love of his life, Phyllis Elaine Bell on February 19, 1966.

Having the ability to work with wood, Kenny was crafty at creating beautiful furniture. He enjoyed fishing for catfish, singing karaoke, drag races, and horses. Kenny was witty and had a great sense of humor that was appreciated by all. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, and brother. Kenny will be missed by all who knew him.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father and mother Lloyd and Georgia (Shutz) Bettis and his two sisters Joy Minton and Kay Ellington.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Phyllis Bettis of Reed Springs, Missouri; daughter, Connie Groves of Reed Springs, Missouri; and son, Kenneth Bettis Jr. and wife, Shelley of Reed Springs, Missouri. He is also survived by his three sisters: Sharon Bell and husband, Vernie of Wichita, Kansas; Debbie Taylor and husband, Randy of Kirbyville, Missouri; and Mickey Anderson and husband, Steve of Modesto, Illinois.
