Keith Laverne “Keither” “Roundy” Johnson, age 74, of Exeter, Missouri

             Keith Laverne “Keither” “Roundy” Johnson, age 74, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 in Cassville.

            He was born June 15, 1949 in Shawnee Mission, Kansas the son of Johnny “Nelson” and Jean (Aldstedt) Johnson, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was one brother, Lorie Johnson.

            Surviving are his life partner, Sherry Johnson of Exeter, Missouri; two daughters, Wendy Johnson Hoelting and her husband Glen of Shawnee Mission, Kansas and Kimberly Johnson Nachbar and her husband Paul of Shawnee Mission, Kansas and several grandchildren.

            Keith grew up in Shawnee Mission, Kansas and graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in Overland Park, Kansas. He worked as a contractor building houses and as a sales representative for Luck E Strike Manufacturing in Cassville. Keith was an avid fisherman and enjoyed turkey, deer, quail and pheasant hunting. He loved music due to the influence of his mother who was a jazz pianist. Keith was a diehard Kansas Jayhawk and Kansas City Chiefs fan. He loved his dogs Poopie, Max, Rascal and Heidi, who preceded him in death. Keith also loved his new dog, Kat. He was an original member of the #45 dirt late model race car team from Shell Knob, Missouri.

            He was a one-of-a-kind man, generous and loving until the end. Until we meet again my love.

            Remembrance services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
