Kathleen “Kathy” Barbara Uland, age 82, of Branson, Missouri
Kathleen “Kathy” Barbara Uland, age 82, of Branson, Missouri, passed away May 24, 2023. She entered this life July 27, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Edward and Agnes (Pelsnik) Sydlow.
With culinary talent, Kathy baked and decorated cakes, made candy, and catered to others. She was an active member of Sanctuary of Hope in Branson, Missouri. When Kathy moved from the farm in Rueter, Missouri, she was so thrilled to find a house that was close to her church family on Bee Creek Road. Kathy’s heart was so giving and loving that all that knew her loved her. She will be greatly missed.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Douglas Uland; and three sisters: Beatrice Rulli, Beverly Whitaker, and Maureen “Molly” Ford.
Kathy is survived by two stepchildren: Jaine (Phillip) Whiteman of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Paul Uland of Denver, Colorado; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m. June 24, 2023, at The Sanctuary of Hope, 1790 Bee Creek Road, Branson, Missouri with Sam Kaunley officiating, with lunch and inurnment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathy’s name to Both Hands Mission, PO Box 2713, Brentwood, TN 37024.
