Judith “Judy” Ann Heinzl

Judith “Judy” Ann Heinzl, age 73, Kimberling City, Missouri

Judith “Judy” Ann Heinzl born on July 25, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri and went to be with her Lord on February 3, 2024, at the age of 73 years. Judy was the daughter of Curtis and Ann Moser

Judy graduated from Affton (MO) High School in 1968 and spent a few years working for different places in the St. Louis area.

Judy became the secretary of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in 1978 and worked there the rest of her life! Judy was the ‘keeper of all information’ at the church, which she really demonstrated in 2023 as we celebrated the church’s 50th anniversary.

Judy did not like to be the center of attention, but she was a quiet, steady friend to all…and her faith in God always shone through. In the past 10 years her confidence blossomed, and she really enjoyed several trips and cruises with her friend Debbie. She also had a lot of fun bowling with all her ‘bowling’ friends and more recently the fun times with her ‘Elks’ friends.

Judy is survived by her older sister, Sandra Charlotte Macke (husband, William); niece, Christina Lynn Jackson (husband Jeffrey) and their twin daughters: Analia and Teresa; and niece Catherine Suzanne Macke. Preceding Judy in death include her parents Curtis (1991) & Ann (2003) Moser, and her younger sister Deborah Kaye Moser that was stillborn in 1957.

Judy was many things to many people, whether as family, church family, secretary, or friend. She always tried to let the God’s light shine through her. She made all our lives better. She will be missed dearly, but we all smile as we know she is no longer in pain…and she is happy to be with her Lord and Savior.

Judy’s funeral will be at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Kimberling City or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks. To leave an online condolence, please visit www.cremationsoftheozarks.com.
