Joyce Mae Schreiner

Joyce Mae Schreiner, of Reeds Spring, Missouri.

Joyce Mae Schreiner, of Reeds Spring, Missouri, woke in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on December 12, 2021 at 11:25pm at the age of 83 in Waxahachie, Texas. 

Joyce was born June 1, 1938, in Appleton, Wisconsin to Walter and Ethyl Peotter. 

Joyce married Myron Michael “Mike” Schreiner in 1983 in Wisconsin and together they enjoyed making and selling crafts at their craft store, gardening, and going to Silver Dollar City. 

As a child she loved traveling with her parents and those were some of her fondest memories growing up. In all Joyce traveled to 48 out of the 50 states.

She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Kimberling City, Missouri. Joyce felt that her most significant accomplishment was raising her children in church, and teaching them the value of life and putting God first. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, parents and two siblings, Dee and Gerald. 

She is survived by her 4 children: Elizabeth Nance, Mark Zaragoza and wife Jami, Sean Killion and wife Tammy, and Daniel Killion; 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. 

Visitation and celebration of life service for family and friends will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021, from 10AM to 12PM at Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home in Forsyth, MO. Interment will follow at Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson, Missouri. Firefox 1 of 2 1
