Joseph Christopher King II

August 13, 1963 – January 21, 2023

 

 

Joseph (Joe) Christopher King II, 59, of Forsyth, MO, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Agape Church, 5600 Burkburnett Road, Wichita Falls, TX, with Pastor Daniel and Dr. Paula Burt officiating.

 

A son of the late Mary Ann Vance King and late Joseph Christopher King, Joe was born on Tuesday, August 13, 1963, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He graduated from Northwest Christian Academy in 1981 and Rhema Bible Training Center in 1983. While working as a camp counselor at Omega Ranch Youth Camp, Joe met and married the love of his life, Cynthia (Cindy) King in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado. He was the proud father of two sons, Andrew (Stacey) King and Steven King and the loving grandfather of Jubilee and Levi King.

 

Over the years, Joe worked as a custodian for Agape Church and Christian School, Facilities Services and Management and Charis Bible College. He also worked as the fudge maker for the gift shop on top of Pikes Peak.

 

Joe’s greatest passions in life were to serve the Lord with all of his heart, take care of his family and bring joy, love, and laughter to others. He was a man of great faith, integrity, and compassion.

 

He is survived by his wife, Cindy King; sons, Andrew (Stacey) King and Steven King; brother, John King; sister, Donna Rodgers; grandchildren, Jubilee and Levi King; uncle, James King and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
