Jimmie Andrew Bowman, age 84, of Branson, Missouri.

Jimmie Andrew Bowman, age 84, of Branson, Missouri, passed away October 25, 2022. He entered this life December 22, 1937, in Purdy, Missouri, the son of Loyd and Hazel (Smith) Bowman. Preceding him in death are his parents and his wife, Marjorie June Bowman.

Jimmie attended the teacher’s college at Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri. However, his career started in the grocery business and for the last 23 years he has been a night auditor at the Grand Country Inn of Branson, Missouri. A big man with an even bigger heart, Jimmie was known as a “gentle giant” to those who knew him. Jimmie’s kind ways and helpful demeanor will be remembered for years to come.

Jimmie is survived by his brother, Eddie Dennis Bowman of Purdy, Missouri; two nieces: Joanna (Danny) Eakin of Reeds Spring, Missouri and Gina Gayle Brown of Lindale, Texas; as well as two nephews: Johnny Lynn Bowman of Purdy, Missouri and Jeremy Bowman of Branson West, Missouri.
