Jerry Alan Bennett, age 58, of Cassville, Missouri
Jerry Alan Bennett, age 58, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born March 11, 1963 in Monett, Missouri the son of Jim and Beverly (Bowen) Bennett. On January 6, 1989 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Nyla McEndree, who survives. Also surviving are his father Jim Bennett of Purdy, Missouri; one brother, Mike Bennett and his wife Valerie of Purdy, Missouri; two sisters, Mary Bennett Hall and her husband Craig of Republic, Missouri and Connie Bennett Scillian and her husband Jon of Nixa, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Beverly Bennett.
Jerry graduated from Purdy High School in 1981. After graduating he moved to Republic, Missouri where he and his brother owned and operated Republic Muffler and Tire for several years. In 1991 Jerry and Nyla purchased a poultry farm in Pierce City, Missouri and later started Benco Red Iron Structures. He liked old cars and the outdoors. He was a member of Arnhart Baptist Church in Purdy.
Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jason Mackey and Brother Eddie Bowman will conduct the services. Burial will be at Arnhart Cemetery in Purdy.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until service time Friday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Contributions may be made to Arnhart Cemetery in memory of Jerry.
