Jane Dube

 Jane Dube, age 69, of Exeter, Missouri

 Jane Dube, age 69, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

She was born March 6, 1954 in Umzingwane, Zimbabwe, the daughter of Sibangiso Ndlovu and Matama Mather Moyo. On June 30, 1976 in Umzingwane,

Zimbabwe, she was united in marriage to Henry Dube, who preceded her in death on April 9, 2004. Also preceding her in death were her parents.

            Surviving her are two sons, Lungani Dube of Edmonton Alberta, Canada and Bradford Sikhulile Dube of Noblesville, Indiana; two daughters, Siphathisiwe Moyo of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Nqobile Dube of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

            Jane attended primary school in Umzingwane, and some secondary school in Lower Gwelo Adventist High School. After graduating from secondary school, she attended Gweru Teacher’s College for her teacher training and was employed by the Ministry of Education in Zimbabwe. She later attended Trinity College in the United States, attaining a bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry and teaching. She immigrated to the United States in 2000 and settled in Niles Michigan where she lived for 20 years. In 2020 she relocated to Exeter, Missouri. Jane was a master seamstress, and also enjoyed tending to her flowers and being outdoors.

            Services and burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 2, 2024 at Bashan Hill Chapel and Cemetery in Exeter, Missouri respectively.
