James William “Jim” Richardson, age 78, of Cassville, Missouri
James William “Jim” Richardson, age 78, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at his home.
He was born June 12, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of William Joseph and Joan (Eisenhower) Richardson, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was one sister, Janice Rogers.
Surviving is one brother, Michael J. Richardson and his wife Doris of Richmond, Texas.
Jim attended school in Overland Park, Kansas graduating from Shawnee Mission North High School later attending college where he attained a bachelor’s degree in business. He served in the United States Marines from June 10, 1963 until June 9, 1969. Upon returning home he was employed by the United Auto Workers Union in the union pension department for several years. In 1998 Jim moved from Maryland to Eagle Rock, Missouri to help care for his mother. His favorite pastime was playing golf.
A private interment service with military honors will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri at a later date.
