Jacqueline Ann (Teller) Haack

Jacqueline Ann (Teller) Haack, age 61, Branson West, Missouri

With great sadness, our family has lost our greatest supporter, hardest rock, and biggest cheerleader. Jacqueline Ann (Teller) Haack passed away unexpectedly at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri on Saturday, December 23rd, 2023. Many knew her as Jacquie, Jax or Ma. Jacquie was born on March 22nd, 1962 in Manchester, United Kingdom, to Andrew Teller, and Eve (Watkinson) Teller. At the age of 18 she left Manchester City College in Manchester U.K. to move to the United States with her father. Upon arriving to the U.S. she had to complete her senior year of high school in order to meet the graduation requirements in the U.S. She graduated from Knox Community High School in Knox, Indiana, class of 1980. She was the proud mother of Sarah and Shaun, wife to loving husband Kevin, whom she married on March 30th, 1997. Jacquie was the lucky grandmother to three grandsons, Trenton, Corbin and Kaeden. She also loved all of her fur-babies, Gidget, Cooper, Gabby and Lucy. After many years in the Quad Cities, she and Kevin relocated to Strafford, Missouri to be closer to where Shaun was living, and get away from the midwest winters. They spent a few years there before buying their home in Branson West, Missouri, where they could be closer to the lake. Jaquie had the biggest heart and put the needs of those she loved before her own. She truly was the best mom, wife, and friend anyone could have asked for. She loved her family and close friends with all that she had. She was a lover of nature - all the trees, flowers (daisies most of all), and hummingbirds; which she enjoyed watching at their feeders. The simplest things made her happy, and she never asked for much, if anything at all. As long as she had Starbucks coffee, cozy socks, some good cheese and bread, and some of her favorite goodies from the U.K. she was content. On September 15th, 2021, she proudly earned her Certificate of Naturalization when she officially became a United States Citizen in Springfield, Missouri. She has enjoyed her job at Arvest Bank in Branson West, as a Personal Banker II, and has met many new friends during her time there. Jacquie was really the most loving, gentle, and most genuine person who always treated everyone with kindness. No wonder she made friendships where ever she went. Jacquie will surely be missed by so many! Jacquie is survived by her husband, Kevin Haack of Branson West, Missouri, daughter Sarah and her husband Jake, of New Durham, New Hampshire, son Shaun Howard of Branson West, Missouri, grandsons Trenton, Corbin and Kaeden, brother John (Christine) Teller of Bristol, U.K., niece Angie (Simon) Mayo of Weston-Super-Mare, U.K., nephew Chris (Jo) Teller of Langford, U.K.,  nephew Sam (Nicky) Teller of Bristol, U.K., niece Saffron Fearon of Bristol, U.K., sister-in-law Deb (Mike) Teeken of St. George, Utah, father-in-law Frank Benadom of Dewitt, Iowa, as well as many other family members both in the U.K. and the U.S. Jacquie also leaves behind her two remarkable best friends, Denise McCue of Rock Falls, IL and  Samantha Nash of Davenport, IA. They shared a beautiful friendship with her for years, much more like sisters to her. Jacquie is proceeded in death by her Mum, Eve (Watkinson) Teller, her father, Andrew Teller, her brother, Michael Teller, as well as many beloved fur-babies. To fulfill her wish, Jacquie will be cremated. There will be no services at this time. Friends and family will be notified in the upcoming months as we come together for a celebration of life at a more convenient location. She has always requested Dancing Queen by ABBA be played when the day came, so in memory of her, give that song a listen and sing your heart out, as she will be, too. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you "plant a tree" through the funeral home website, as she would love that in her honor. Please keep all of those that she loved, and that love her in your thoughts and prayers, as they all navigate this tremendous loss.
