Howard Lee “Howie” Wallace, age 91, Cassville, Missouri

Howard Lee “Howie” Wallace, age 91, of Holiday Island, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at his home.

            He was born September 20, 1931 in Cassville, Missouri to Harry and Myra (Arnold) Wallace, who preceded him in death.  Also preceding him in death was one son, Michael Wallace; one brother and one sister.

            On April 9, 1950 in Cassville, Missouri he was united in marriage to Betty J. Thomas who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Charles Wallace and his wife Susan of Pekin, Illinois and Allen Wallace and his wife Kathy of Manito, Illinois; one daughter, Tammy Massey and her husband Russell of Grandbury, Texas; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

            Howard grew up and attended school in Cassville, Missouri graduating from Cassville High School.  He worked for several construction companies in many different states before becoming a project manager for Gilbert and Associates Construction Company from where he retired.  Photography, golfing, fishing and especially woodworking were some of his favorite pastimes. Howard attended Holiday Island Community Church.

            A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Holiday Island Community Church with Pastor Dr. Jeffery Timm officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Holiday Island Community Church.

             Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Missouri.
