George Edward Murray, age 76, of Branson West, Missouri
George Edward Murray, age 76, of Branson West, Missouri, passed away December 8, 2023. He entered this life December 23, 1946, in North Platte, Nebraska, the son of Joel and Florence Murray. He was joined in marriage October 14, 2011, to Ingrid P. Carpenter.
George proudly served our country as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Hastings Senior High School and went on to the University of Nebraska and then to the Business Administration Department in Omaha, Nebraska. George was a realtor for forty years in Omaha, Nebraska and in 2017, moved to Branson West, Missouri, with his wife, to live out his golden years in that lovely community. He played golf every week and sometimes every day on the course. His passion was playing his guitar and having a hootin andies. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family, and friends.
George is preceded in death by his parents: Joel and Florence Murray.
He is survived by his wife of twelve years, Ingrid Carpenter; daughter, Erin (Joey) Lorinez; three grandchildren: Eli, Teddy, and Hazel; and sister, Sam Ruth Clark.
