Gene Salley, 83, of Branson< Missouri

Gene Salley, 83, of Branson entered into rest December 26, 2022. He was born on September 16, 1939 in Duck Hill, Mississippi to Gus Salley and Emma Williams. Gene was a retired entrepreneur in the granite and tile business in the greater Los Angeles area of California. Upon retirement, Gene resided in Los Angeles for 15 years before moving to Branson where he met the love of his life, Piper Griffin. They were married on May 20, 2016 and celebrated six years of wedded bliss. Gene spent his retirement playing golf, fishing, and spending quality time with Piper and their dog, Bebo. He took great joy in his family. 

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Mason and Gus Jr., and two sisters Betty McElrath and Faye Little. He is survived by his loving wife Piper Salley of the home, son Brian Salley, two daughters Cynthia Garrett and Deborah Salley, one sister Grace and Bud Ivy, three step-sons, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial and visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson, Missouri.
