Frederick “Rick” Patrick Kelly, age 82, of Kimberling City, Missouri

Frederick “Rick” Patrick Kelly, age 82, of Kimberling City, Missouri, fell asleep in death April 8, 2023. He entered this life September 7, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan. Rick was joined in marriage on June 7, 1991, to Vicki Bonavito.

With skilled hands, Rick was a jack of all trades. His skills were exhibited in building motorcycles, cars, homes, and furniture. Rick was an artist who excelled at drawing, painting, and sewing clothing. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, classic cars, horses, and poker.

Claiming to never be wrong one day of his life, Rick was a humorous, passionate, and outspoken individual. Over the years he worked as a schooled farrier, carpenter, construction worker, and business owner. The amount of love and generosity emitted by this grumpy, stubborn, and loyal man will be cherished by those who knew him eternally.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents-in-law: Floyd and Evelyn Hull; and son, Joseph Bonavito.

Rick is survived by wife of thirty-one years, Vicki Kelly; children: Tonia Bonavito of Kansas, Crystal Bonavito of Kansas, Michelina Cooke of Kansas, Richard Kelly of Missouri, Sha-Niva Sadd-Marriner of Massachusetts, Margene Kelly of Michigan, Jeanna Kelly of Michigan, and Randy Kelly of Michigan; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other extended family members.
