Francis Bernard Stein, III, age 55, Branson, Missouri

Francis Bernard Stein, III, affectionately known as Benny, was born May 21, 1968 in Mountain View, Missouri.  He was the beloved son of Francis Stein, II and Virginia (Kramer) Anderson.  He was a student of Winona schools through his junior year and then attended Mtn. View High School graduating from there.  He enjoyed being part of 4H and had won different championships with his Angus cattle and pigs.  Benny went on to attend Southeast Missouri State and earn a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. His education and training led him to a career in law enforcement and serving as a policeman.

 Benny moved to the Powersite and Branson area where he went to work for Westgate Resorts.  His hardwork and dedication quickly catapulted him to a managerial position.  He then pursued his passion of operating his own resort and purchased Rustic Acres Resort.  After operating it for four years, he returned to Westgate as manager of sales.

 Benny passed away  unexpectedly on November 2, 2023 in Branson at the age of 55.  He had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and now abides in His presence.

 He is survived by his mother, Virginia Anderson of Cape Girardeau; children, Ashley Stein and Eli Stein of Branson; brother, Robert Roy Stein, sister-in-law Becky and niece Hallie all of Cape Girardeau; and his aunt Rosetta Kramer of Forsyth.  He was also the loved Pop to Benni Lynn Stein and Alex Stein.

 Graveside services for Benny were held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Oak Forest Cemetery in Birch Tree, MO.  Local arrangements were in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
