Elsie Juanita Tinker

Elsie Juanita Tinker, 92, of Branson, MO, died on, Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Shepherd of the Hills Nursing home. A celebration of life services will be held at a later date.

Elsie Juanita Tinker was born on Tuesday, February 26th 1929 in Mount Vernon, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Horace and Lois Heffley. She was the beloved wife of Francis Henry Tinker since 1968. They met in Hayward, CA. Elsie was an apartment manager for Lincoln Apartment Company, and homemaker.

Elsie enjoyed knitting, sewing, participating in church activities. She loved going to garage sales and thrift shops. Elsie was of the Baptist faith and was a member of several churches, including, Santa Rosa Baptist Church, North Highlands Baptist Church, and Spring Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Branson. Elsie was known for hugging everyone she met in the churches she was a member of, and she was credited for her high attendance rate. She never had anything bad to say about anyone. Everyone who lived at the apartment complexes she managed loved her. Elsie loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a lover of small dogs. 

She is survived by her husband Frank; daughter, Shirley Steele and husband, Glenn of Lampe, MO; daughter, Linda Barisione of CA; daughter, Elizabeth Davis and husband, Donn of Vallejo, CA; daughter-in-law, Sherri Bagley of OR; grandchildren, Susan, Jason, Robert, Chuck, Danielle, Melissa, Travis, and Cody; multiple great-grandchildren; multiple great-great grandchildren, and a great-great-great grandchild; brothers, Kenneth Heffley, Alan Heffley; sister, Doris Evans, and like a sister, Jerrye Hoyt. 

She is preceded in death by her son, Jim Bagley; two sisters, Nelly Bagley and Mary Ashley; two brothers, T.J. Heffley and Bobby Heffley. 

In lieu of flowers donations memorials may be made to Spring Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Branson: 3063 State Hwy 76, Branson, MO 65616. 

Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
