Dennis Leo Dinneen, age 79, of Golden, Missouri.

Dennis Leo Dinneen, age 79, of Golden, Missouri passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at his home.

He was born July 25, 1943 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of George and Liberty (Weiner) Dinneen. On May 10, 2008 he was united in marriage to Katherine Louise Snodgrass, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Todd Dinneen of Tucson, Arizona; one daughter, Kelly Rivers of Kansas City, Missouri; two stepsons, Trent Moore of Charlotte, North Carolina and Garrett Moore and his wife Alicia of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one stepdaughter-in-law, Brenda Moore of Shell Knob, Missouri; one brother, Michael Dinneen of Marathon, Florida; three sisters, Terri Dinneen of Orlando, Florida, Kathy Pike and her husband Peter of Sarasota, Florida and Jill Piekiel and her husband John of Greensboro, North Carolina; three grandchildren; seven step grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Dennis attended school in Charlotte, North Carolina graduating from Charlotte Catholic High School, later attending George Mason University in Fairfax County, Virginia attaining a master’s degree. From 1961 until 1967 he served in the United States Marine Corps as a sergeant, was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and was a diver.  He was employed by the Canadian Pacific Railroad as an engineer and an instructor and was a commercial pilot, flying children to the Shriners Hospitals for Children burn center. Dennis enjoyed boating and was a volunteer at the Eagle Rock-Golden-Mano Fire Department for several years. He was a member of the All Faith United Methodist Church in Eagle Rock.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
