David ‘Jerry’ Jerome Wright, Kimberling City, MO.

David ‘Jerry’ Jerome Wright, Kimberling City, MO, son of Charles and Ezerene (Beaman) Wright, was born June 12, 1926, in Callao, MO, and departed this life on March 15, 2022, at the age of 95.

Jerry had been a resident of the area for thirty-five years, moving here from Westminster, CO where he worked for an environmental service.  He was a member of the American Legion and the Elks Lodge in Kimberling City.  He served his country proudly in the United States Navy.

Jerry was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter, Cindy Hackman, brother, Charles Beaman Wright and sister, Margaret L. (Wright) Abel.

Survivors include: his wife, Dolores Wright of Kimberling City, MO; two sons, David C. Wright and wife, Jennifer of Kansas City, MO and Bruce Harms of Flower Mound, TX; four daughters, Kitty Beckett and husband, Lonnie of Glasgow, MO, Deborah Temmen of Glasgow, MO, Debra Lawson of Kearney, MO and Teri Graves of Gladstone, MO; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service for Jerry will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Stumpff Funeral Chapel Kimberling City, MO with Jeff Baird officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested gifts to the Kimberling City Elks.  Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
