Clara Jean Nuckolls, age 5, of Kirbyville
Clara Jean Nuckolls, age 5, of Kirbyville, Missouri, gained her angel wings on August 28, 2026, surrounded by the endless love of her family. She was born on December 31, 2020.
In her 5 years, Clara brought so much love and joy to the people around her. She loved good food, Peppa Pig, being on the lake, taking bubble baths, jumping on her trampoline, and spending time with her favorite people. Her family will forever hold close to the memories they made with her.
Clara lived with a rare diagnosis of a KPTN genetic mutation, along with seizures and autism. From the very beginning, her mom, Macy, was there for every moment of Clara’s life, sharing in her happiest days, holding her through the hardest ones, and giving her a love that never wavered. Their bond was incredibly special, and the love they shared will forever be a part of Clara’s story.
Even in her passing, Clara became a true hero through the profound gift of organ donation. Her brave heart now beats inside another 5-year-old child; her liver was gifted to an 11-year-old child; and her kidneys were given to a 23-year-old and a 26-year-old. Because of Clara, four people have been given the precious gift of life and more time with the people they love. Clara’s final gift was one of incredible love and generosity, allowing a part of her to live on and giving hope to many families. Her legacy will continue through the lives she helped save.
Clara is survived by her mother, Macy Nuckolls, and her partner, Ben Creedon; her father and stepmother, Brandon and Sadie Nuckolls; her brothers, Cash, Callan, and Easton; her sisters, Emery and Dallas; her grandparents, Melinda and Daniel Burkhart, Steve and Katrina Creedon, and Mark and Samantha Nuckolls; along with many great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones who adored her.
A celebration of Clara’s beautiful life will be held on September 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Church 3:16 in Forsyth, Missouri. Pastor Jeramie Henson will officiate, burial will follow at the Wolf Cemetery, Protem, Mo.
Clara was loved fiercely, cherished deeply, and treasured beyond words. She will be missed every day and loved for a lifetime.
