Charles “Chuck” Edward Borton, age 52, of Taneyville, Missouri.

Charles “Chuck” Edward Borton, age 52, of Taneyville, Missouri, passed away on April 11, 2024. He entered this life on December 30, 1971, in Berlin, Germany, the son of Wendell and Carroll (Flowers) Borton. He was joined in marriage on April 11, 2005, to Kayla Lawrence.

Chuck retired from being a fireman in Oklahoma. He enjoyed being outdoors: hunting, fishing, and investing time with his family. Chuck loved his children, and any time he could spend with them. He is greatly loved and missed.

Chuck is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Kayla Borton; seven children: Anya Borton of Taneyville, Missouri, Brentlee Borton of Branson, Missouri, Samantha (Alex Anderson) Borton of Baxter Springs, Kansas, Jessica (Stussy Woods) Borton of Baxter Springs, Kansas, Kenny (Felicia) Brewer of Miami, Oklahoma, Jermiah Borton of Afton, Oklahoma, and Garett (Lexi) Mitchell of Grove, Oklahoma; many grandchildren; sister, Vallarie (Tim) Walburn of Edmond, Oklahoma; and many other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and brother, Scott Borton.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made in Chuck’s name to your local fireman’s association.
