Carolyn Matthews

Carolyn Matthews, age 79, passed away at home in Kissee Mills, MO on Thursday, August 11th, 2022.

Born September 3rd, 1942 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Jessie Granville McNemar and Theo Huddleston McNemar, she attended Green Forest High School and graduated with honors in 1960. She married Bob Matthews on July 15th, 1960.

She lived in Kissee Mills, MO and will be especially remembered for being the best wife, mother, and “Mimi” to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Bob Matthews, her children Wyatt Matthews, Lea Anne Matthews, John Matthews, Tim Matthews, Heather Matthews, Andy Matthews, and her grandchildren Summer Incledon, Stephanie Miles, Alex Matthews, Katherine Matthews, Jarrett Matthews, Jessica Matthews, Blake Matthews, Courtney Matthews, Nick Aumiller, and five great-grandchildren. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.

The visitation will be held at 10am on Tuesday, August 16th at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory at 1638 E. Highway 76, Branson, MO 65616. The burial will be held immediately following the visitation at 11am in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery. Relatives and friends are welcome.
