Brenda Joyce Moss, age 74, Branson, Missouri

Brenda Joyce Moss, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on July 11, 2023, in Branson, Missouri. Born on June 5, 1949, in Morganfield, Kentucky, Brenda's life was marked by a deep love for her family, a passion for her work, and a joy for gardening.

Brenda was the cherished daughter of her parents Landon & Mary Jenkins. Brenda's early education took place in her hometown, where she graduated from Union County High School. After moving to Kansas City with her sister, Brenda worked in various places. Her love story with her husband, William Moss, began in Kansas City, where they met and married on September 2, 1968. They were blessed with the birth of their son, Kenneth while living in Kansas City. The family later moved to Springfield, Missouri, where Brenda earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Southwest Missouri State University (now MSU). This achievement marked the beginning of a successful career in the field of accounting and auditing.  Upon moving to Springdale, AR, Brenda worked as an auditor with the state.

Outside of her professional life, Brenda was an avid gardener. She found great joy in tending to her roses and vegetables, nurturing them from seed to bloom and harvest.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bill Jenkins.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her husband, William Moss of Forsyth, her son, Kenneth Moss of Branson and siblings, Patsy Holeschele, Mary Ware, Linda Miller, Keith Jenkins, Carolin Boatwright, and Donna Stirk. She was a beacon of strength and love to her family and will be deeply missed.
