Barbara Ann Bass, age 76, of Shell Knob, Missouri
Barbara Ann Bass, age 76, of Shell Knob, Missouri passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at Mercy Hospital Springfield in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born in Kanorado, Kansas on November 7, 1946 the daughter of Anson Karl and Eva Marie (Kirby) Cranmer. On May 15, 1967 in Burlington, Colorado she was united in marriage to Raymond Bass who preceded her in death on March 20, 2016. Also preceding her in death were her parents.
Surviving are one son, Devallis Bass of Bethany, Oklahoma; one grandaughter, Katie Bass and two great-grandchildren, Jasper Webb and Obisidian “Obie” Mathis.
Barbara was a homemaker her entire life, which she enjoyed. After moving to Shell Knob from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 2012 she volunteered at the Shell Knob Senior Center and loved attending church where she socialized with her friends. Barbara enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, especially The Gibson Brothers from Branson, Missouri.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Central Crossing Senior Center in Shell Knob, Missouri. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
