Amanda Dawn Johanson 33, of Branson Missouri, passed away November 26, 2021. She was born August 12th, 1988, in Branson to Michael and Jodi.
Amanda attended Hollister elementary, Branson Middle School, and Pleasant Hope High School. She was an honor roll student, cheerleader, she also participated in many other clubs and activities. She also clogged and did hip hop dance. She performed many times at Silver Dollar City, and in the area. She had dreams of becoming a vet tech or a paralegal. Unfortunately she lost her way, but never her hope. She battled demons most hope to never even see, and she still managed to be the best, daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister and friend that she could. She is very loved and will be greatly missed by all that she left behind.
Amanda was preceded in death by grandparents Monroe and Annie Ruth Dorton, Uncle Shawn Dorton, and grandfather Daryll Johanson.
Amanda is survived by her much loved daughter Isabella Stephens, her step-father and mother Delbert and Jodi Roberts, Uncle Chad Dorton, father and stepmother Michael and Sherri Johanson, two brothers Jordan and Justin Johanson, sister Victoria Johanson, nephew Alexander Childs, Grandmother Phyllis Johanson, Uncle Douglas Johanson, several great aunts and uncles, many cousins, 2 step families and many friends.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul" Matthew 11: 28-29.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation Services Springfield, Missouri
Celebrations of life will be scheduled at a later time by the families.
