Allen Lee Sulgrove

Allen Lee Sulgrove, 66, of Forsyth, MO.

Allen Lee Sulgrove, 66, of Forsyth, Missouri passed away January 22, 2022. Allen was born March 13, 1955, in Springfield, Missouri, the oldest son of William (Bill) & Elnore (Wood) Sulgrove.  

On March 29, 1979, in Taneyville, Missouri he was united in marriage to Glenneda (Glenn) Sullenger. To this marriage was born one daughter, Keitta L. Sulgrove of Cape Fair, Missouri, who survives. Also surviving are his brother, Dennis Sulgrove, and sister, Ruth (Sulgrove) Dowler, both of Forsyth, along with many other family members and a host of friends.  

Preceding Allen in death were his wife, his parents. Succeeding Allen was his mother-in-law Rita (Sharkey) Dorzab of Greybull, Wyoming.  

Allen graduated from Forsyth High School In 1973. He enjoyed sports, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Allen took over the family dairy farm, following his dad and grandfather, running the farm until his health caused early retirement. Allen was a devoted Christian of the Pentecostal faith.  

Allen was as ornery as he could be and as stubborn as a mule, but everyone knew he had a heart of gold. He is and will be greatly missed.  

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Whelchel Grace Funeral Home in Forsyth, Missouri. Private burial will take place at a later date.
