Two Runners from the Lakes Region Medal in the Missouri State Cross Country Championships.
Both runners were a part of the Class 1 Boys State Meet with Calen Faucett of Crane finishing sixth in the race while Ethan Howard of School of the Ozarks finished 25th.
Other area schools represented in the State Cross Country Meets include Blue Eye, Branson, Reeds Spring, and Spokane.
Among other southwest Missouri schools with top finishes in the State Cross Country Meet include Chadwick, who had four runners all finish in the Top 30 to claim the Class 1 Girls State Championship. Other Top 10 Schools from southwest Missouri include New Covenant Academy (3rd Class 2 Boys), Sparta (6th Class 2 Girls), Springfield Catholic (8th Class 3 Girls), West Plains (2nd Class 4 Girls, 5th Class 4 Boys), Bolivar (5th Class 4 Girls), Nixa (4th Class 5 Boys), and Webb City (8th Class 5 Boys).
