Today's MOARK Sports Spotlight Highlights the Blue Eye Bulldog Baseball Team.
Chris Carlson of the Branson Tri-Lakes reports that the Bulldogs started the 2022 Fall Season split two games in the August portion of the schedule getting a 10-0 win over Hurley collecting 11 hits in the six inning game before dropping a 3-2 decision to Sparta. In addition, the Bulldogs beat Verona in their first September game 7-1. Colton Spinning and Logan Isbell earned the victories on the mound in the two wins.
Since this initial report, Blue Eye lost a 10-0 contest to Purdy and are now 2-2 with all games so far being on the road.
The Bulldogs are back in action this afternoon at Billings, next Tuesday at Galena, then play in the Crane Wood Bat Tournament before Blue Eye's home opener on the 19th against Wheaton.
