Missouri District Tournaments were the big part of the area schedule on Monday.

Softball
The Forsyth Lady Panthers avenged two losses to Strafford in punching their ticket to the Class 2 District 5 Championship Game today in Forsyth. The Lady Panthers had lost twice to the Lady Indians, the last one by one run, before last night's 6-0 win. Except for the top of the sixth inning, it was a pitching dual between Forsyth's Kloe Hendrickson and Strafford's Natalie Gannon. However, the the Lady Panthers erupted for all six runs in the sixth five scoring with two outs. A two RBI single by Zoe White and a three-run homer by Emmy Blevins were the big blows. Forsyth will play top seeded Sparta in this afternoon's Title Game at 5:00. The game can be heard on MOARK Sports.

In other action, Crane and Billings were eliminated from the Class 1 District at Purdy, the Lady Pirates by the host Lady Eagles 11-0 and the Lady Wildcats by Miller 9-0.

Golf
Several area golfers have qualified for the upcoming State Tournament after making the cut in area district tournaments on Monday. They include Robert Carter from Galena in Class 1, Cooper Voliva from Forsyth in Class 2, Garrett Snyder of Hollister in Class 3 along with Benjamin Eric Presley, Reese Andrew Ruprecht, and Andrew Bristow from Branson in Class 4. The State Golf Tournaments will take place next week.

Tennis

Forsyth will play in Springfield against New Covenant for the team title today.
