High School Basketball Districts are underway for Missouri Class 1, 2, and 3 Schools.
The Forsyth Lady Panthers season ended at the hands of Springfield Catholic for the second year. The Lady Irish used a 10-2 second quarter run to stretch a two point lead and eventually a 49-39 win at Catholic Monday evening in the Class 3 District 11 Tournament. While the home team got the lead to 18 but Forsyth was able to close the gap to 10 late in the third quarter but could get no closer. Savannah Koen finished her Forsyth career with 19 points to lead all scorers.
Today on MOARK Sports, more District Basketball action as the Forsyth Boys play Pleasant Hope in the Class 3 District Tournament at Sparta. Tip-off will be at 5:00. Meanwhile, it is the last week of the regular season for the Harrison Teams as the Lady Goblins and Goblins entertain Russellville at 6:00 and 7:30 on MOARK Sports and 94.9 KHOZ.
