More from High School Postseason Action on MOARK Sports Thursday.
In Blue Eye, the top seeded Bulldogs advance to the Class 2 District Championship Game with a 57-50 win over Crane in Thursday's semi-final contest. The Bulldogs will host third seeded Wheaton in the title game on Saturday as they upended second seeded Spokane 54-42 in Thursday's other semi-final. Title game will be Saturday at 4:00 on MOARK Sports.
Also on MOARK Thursday night, the Forsyth Panthers rally fell short as they fall to top seeded Fair Grove 49-44 in the Class 3 Semi-final at Sparta. The Panthers started the fourth quarter down by 19 points, but then outscored the Eagles 20-6 in the final period, and got the lead down to three before the Eagles made enough free throws to secure the win. Forsyth finishes their season at 16-11 while the Eagles advance to take on Greenwood in the title game Saturday. The Blue Jays knocked off host Sparta 66-59 in Thursday's other semi-final.
Four games on tap for MOARK Sports today including a District Championship match-up with Blue Eye playing at Crane for the Class 2 Girls District Title at 7:00. The other games will be regular season finales with Branson hosting Willard at 7:30 in their final tune-up prior to next week's Class 5 District Tournament. Meanwhile the Harrison Lady Goblins and Goblins will play their final games of the season at Siloam Springs at 6:00 and 7:30. Neither Harrison team qualified for the state tournament and will wrap-up their seasons with tonight's contests.
