One Lakes Area Team wins a District Volleyball Title Monday while another takes second and another loses in the semi-finals of their tournament.
In Class 1, the School of the Ozarks Lady Patriots earned the top seed in the District Tournament at Fordland and followed through on that with a win over the host Lady Eagles in four games to claim the District Title. S of O will host Winona in the Class 1 Sectional Thursday.
Meanwhile two other schools fell in District play Monday night as Forsyth dropped a 3-1 decision to Mountain Grove in the Class 3 District Final at Hollister while Branson fell to Carl Junction in the semi-finals of the Class 4 District at Willard.
Another Lakes Area School will play for a District Volleyball Championship tonight as Galena takes on Wheaton in the Class 1 District Final at Purdy. The Lady Bears defeated Crane in Monday's semi-final while Wheaton knocked off Verona.
