The Branson Lady Pirates had an unusually busy Saturday as they discover the upcoming District Tournament Seed in addition to playing an added game on their schedule.
The Lady Pirates, seeded fifth in that Class 5 District starting in two weeks, faced Class 1 Top 10 Ranked Walnut Grove in a game scheduled after both programs had a game to fill on their schedules because of lost games earlier in the year.
The game went back and forth in the first half and earlier in the second half before the Lady Pirates pulled away and hit enough free throws to notch the 43-36 win. Rylie Hagston off the bench for the Lady Pirates led in scoring with 11 points with Chole Grimm and Taylor Foster each adding seven.
Kylie Craig of Walnut Grove led all scorers with 14 points.
The Lady Pirates are 11-10 going into their next contest Tuesday at Carthage.
