The body of a man who went missing in Table Rock Lakes Saturday is found late Sunday morning.

According to a report released by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the body of 79-year-old Eugene Nelson of Minnesota was found around Point 1 in Stone County just before Noon. 

A call to Stone County dispatch reported a man that had failed to resurface after going under the water just before 4:00 Saturday afternoon. Divers from the Patrol as well as the Western Taney County Fire Protection District conducted the search. 

This is the eighth drowning worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2022.
